IPA Mackay are assiting our client who are looking for someone to undertake work as part of our Fishery Monitoring team on the Whitsunday Coast.
This work is casual but recurring and involves weekday and weekend shifts of 4 hours max. Would possibly suit a retiree or a person seeking only about 20 hours in a month (maybe 2 shifts in a week).
The responsibilities of this job include:
** Interview recreational fishers at boat ramp/s with the aim of collecting biological information on target fish species.
** Accurately measure and identify fish species.
** May be required to handle fish!!!
** Regularly check email and respond promptly.
** Use a Tablet device to input data sheets promptly.
Must Have:
1. Current driver's licence and
2. Own vehicle is required.
3. Sound Fish Species identification skills
Fisheries Queensland staff will conduct initial and regular training and provide follow-up support. All equipment is provided.
Pay rates:
** Weekdays $
** Saturdays $
** Sundays $
** Shifts are Either: 0900 to 1300 or 1200 to 1600
