About the role
The ICT Sales executive's role reports to the Head of Sales and is responsible for providing multi-Domain ICT sales leadership across Government, Enterprise and Business customers. This role is critical in developing technical multi-domain end-to-end solutions in a Managed Services environment in line with my client's growth strategy
An integral part of the ICT Sales Executives role is being responsible for building and growing a portfolio to deliver innovative, repeatable, and deliverable customer solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Meet /exceed ICT sales metric and other customer outcomes in line with agreed team priorities/ KPIs.
2. Monitor and review monthly ICT Sales results against set metrics and implement remedial action where necessary.
3. Build and grow a sales pipeline to enable the delivery of agreed ICT sales metrics.
4. Develop and maintain deep relationships with Telstra's Business & Enterprise Client Executives and Domain Specialists and promote the brand and key capabilities to foster continued customer engagement for sold and new opportunities.
5. Provide timely and accurate reporting of ICT Sales pipeline status and performance.
6. Develop relationships with the Mobility Sales team to ensure ICT cross selling opportunities are converted and optimised to meet customer needs.
Role Requirements
Broad knowledge of a wide breath of telecommunications technologies, with specialisation in three or more of the following areas preferred:
7. Unified & Voice Communications including TCO365, SIP and PBAX solutions
8. Data Communications including routing/switching and virtualisation
9. Cloud and Security
10. Managed Services
11. Services Management
12. Customer relationship management; ability to build and maintain trust and positive customer relationships, manage customer satisfaction and increase revenue generation; ability to manage key external stakeholders, including third parties, to achieve key objectives.
13. Strong consultative selling skills; ability to identify sources of value that will generate revenue opportunities within customer accounts; ability to facilitate the ongoing operation and further development of existing solutions.
Experience
14. Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Computing or Applied Sciences
15. Strong Industry Sales and Bus Dev experience
16. Proved track record in ICT/UC sales and customer relationship management.
17. Relevant industry/vendor qualification/certification including ITIL, Cisco, Microsoft, Juniper, Avaya etc.
18. Experience selling Microsoft products
19. Previous consultative selling experience and management of a sales portfolio to deliver sales objectives/targets in a dynamic work environment
