StarTrack Launceston are seeking an experienced MR Truck driver (manual transmission truck ) with multi drop experience. If you enjoy truck driving, customer service and keeping physically active, this is the role for you.

Job security, permanent work Full time opportunities Work life balance – work Monday to Friday 9.30am - 6.30pm finish $31.26ph + 12% Superannuation + Leave entitlements Free Onsite parking | Uniform provided About the role Safely loading your truck with freight for your deliveries at the facility Completing your own daily vehicle safety check Driving our MR trucks between our operational centres and customers, for deliveries and adhoc pick-ups Returning to our operational centres to unload pick-ups About you You're a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality who loves autonomy just as much as interacting with others and being a team player. You're passionate about making a difference in the community. If you are a truck driver, a courier driver, a delivery driver or you are physically fit and just want to get into the transport industry, this job is for you.
You'll also need to Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident Hold a medium rigid vehicle licence Be able to drive manual transmission trucks Hold a forklift licence is advantageous Be fit enough to load and unload freight items of all different shapes, sizes and weights, frequently in and out of a truck. Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility Have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills You will need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 130kgs or less Be prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and national police checks.
