It provides peace of mind for every Australian.About the areaPartners, Providers and Home and Living Group is working to ensure the NDIS market is performing well. The NDIS market is the broader ecosystem that allows participants’ funding to be translated into tangible supports. It’s a crucial part of the Scheme's design. The Group is comprised of three divisions: Partners and Providers, Home and Living and Markets.The Partners and Providers Division is responsible for NDIS intermediaries who assist participants to interact or engage with others in the NDIS and disability ecosystem. This includes, early childhood partners, local area coordination partners, support coordinators, plan managers, and peer support and capacity building grant recipients and the new system navigation function.It is also responsible for supporting and working with NDIS providers to ensure effective interactions with NDIA systems and processes and improving their understanding of how they can achieve participant outcomes within the NDIS.About the roleThe General Manager, Partners and Providers is an SES Band 2 position, reporting to the Deputy CEO, Partners, Providers and Home and Living Group. The General Manager has five direct reports, and responsibility for approximately 185 staff nationwide. This role is ideally performed from Geelong or Richmond, VIC; Deakin, ACT, or Adelaide, SA.This role is accountable for:Strategy development for shaping the intermediary marketsReforming the Partners, Support Coordination and Plan Management functions to ensure high quality intermediary servicesDesigning and delivering intermediary market reform initiatives including the system navigation functionManaging and monitoring the performance of all intermediary marketsManaging relationships with our Partners, NDIS providers and NDIS provider peak body organisationsManaging the relationship between the NDIA and the NDIS CommissionDelivery market intelligence initiatives to drive more informed market stewardship.About youThis role is ideal for a leader with a passion for equity, justice and wellbeing of people with disability.
