We are seeking a Network Architect/Principal Systems Integration Engineer to manage architecture, design, integration, deployment, configuration, and fault management in highly complex technological environments. This role involves compiling clear and concise technical specifications, explaining the pros and cons of various options, and developing alternative solutions for backup planning. The ideal candidate will work towards expert-level certification while simultaneously enhancing their business knowledge.
This role can be located within the regions of Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.
Role Requirements As a Principal Systems Integration Engineer, you will:
Engage with clients both on-site and remotely to address complex solution requirements.Delegate tasks to engineers.Coordinate junior engineers' activities, leading by example, and monitoring work quality when necessary.Prepare reports, proposals, and maintain project documentation.Suggest improvements to standard operating procedures for installations and fixes.Mentor and coach engineers.Participate in complex solutions, authoring and contributing to the architecture, design and implementation process.Work independently, taking ownership of relevant technologies within your domain or specialisation.Monitor the quality of work produced by Engineers and Technicians, recommending continuous improvements.Liaise with vendors for priority escalations or bugs found during deployments.Perform any other related tasks as required.What will make you a good fit for the role? Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing or related field.Professional level certifications in different Networking technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCIE, JNCIE, ACMP etc.Registered on Engineers Australia National Engineering Register in the category Professional Engineer - Desirable.Cisco Dev Net certification - Desirable.Due to the Nature of our client's a minimum of baseline security clearance through the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) is required.
