Northrop Grumman Space Systems is currently seeking a highly qualified Principal / Sr. Principal Digital Hardware Engineer looking to join a program hardware team located in Alice Springs, AU.
Please note this role can be filled at either a level 3 or 4.
The hardware team requires individuals with digital communication systems maintenance experience who can work in a structured configuration control environment.
This role requires a two (2) year commitment and the ability to successfully pass a physical and psychological exam. Shifts are typically from 7:30am to 4:00PM Monday Friday with only the odd occasions of off hours or long hours needed for special activities. A comprehensive overseas compensation package is offered with this position including relocation assistance.
The selected candidate will be required to: Know basic communication theory and be familiar with digital and analog modulation/demodulation techniques Perform system, subsystem, unit and board level troubleshooting and repair Develop and modify procedures for alignment Respond to system and subsystem anomalies as require
