Our Hotel Cleanliness Experts (Casual) are skilled in a wide range of housekeeping functions with responsibility for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the whole hotel. They are empowered to move about their space and do what needs to be done. Whether delivering guest requests, stocking carts, cleaning rooms and public spaces, or other similar responsibilities, the Hotel Cleanliness Expert makes sure the spaces in the hotel help create a great guest experience.About the RoleResponsibilities include and are not limited to:Clean public and employee restrooms and showers, including stocking bathroom with adequate paper goods and soap, cleaning all surfaces, and emptying trash.Clean other public areas such as event spaces as required and assigned whilst on duty.Replace dirty linens (e.g., sheets, pillowcases) and terry (e.g., towels, bathrobes) with clean items, following correct bed making and folding standards.Push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart over sloping and uneven surfaces.Ensure guestroom, public areas/bathrooms, restaurants, fitness center, pool area, and offices are cleaned and maintained as per quality standards.Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties in guest rooms and hallways.Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms, such as toiletries, glasses, mugs, linens, towels, tissues, coffee, printed materials, and laundry bags according to standards.Clean bathrooms, including bathtub/hot tub/shower, toilet, floor, sink, and mirror.Fill cart with supplies (e.g., chemicals, rags, linens, amenities) as needed.Move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and more than 25 pounds with assistance.About YouA warm, people orientated demeanourHigh standard of cleanliness and high attention to detailEnjoy working with peopleCapacity to work in a physical roleAbility to work fast and thoroughProfessional attitude and strong customer service skillsGood time management and organisation skillsAbility to work flexible rosters including weekendsExperience in similar role within an international standard 4 or 5 star Hotel (desirable)To ApplyPlease apply through Marriott Careers today.
