Working closely with the Financial Reporting Manager to deliver accurate and timely results to various stakeholders.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and driven professional to join a high-performing team.Key Areas of ResponsibilityPrepare monthly consolidated roll-forward reconciliations of various balance sheet itemsManage and maintain lease module in OracleAssist in compilation of monthly financial reports covering balance sheet, profit and loss, internal management reports and shareholder templatesPrepare quarterly financial and headcount schedulesPrepare, review and lodge BASAssist with payroll accruals (annual leave, long service etc.
)Assist with budgeting and forecastingUtilise financial systems to extract data, analyse information, including variance analysisAssist with Statutory Reporting- preparation of the annual Consolidated and Subsidiary Financial Statements as appropriate including disclosure notes, and preparation of quarterly consolidated accounts for banksLiaise with external auditors and various shareholdersAd-hoc queriesIdentify and implement standardised process improvementsActively ensure own health and safety and the health and safety of others through understanding and implementing workplace health and safety obligationsSupport and comply with Company policies and procedures as advised and documented in the Company's employment policies as amended from time to time and as directed by Managers/SupervisorsAny other duties appropriate to the level and responsibility of the position as requiredPerson SpecificationHigh degree of attention to detail and focus on qualityEffective time management and organisation skills, delivering on commitmentsStrong accountability, taking ownership of one's tasks and resultsTransparent and receptive to feedbackDemonstrated initiative and commitment to continuous improvementGlobal mindset, with understanding of how to work across time zones and geographiesDemonstrate leadership qualities to make sound decisions and positively influence othersQualifications and Experience5-7 years post graduate experience, experience in a Chartered Accounting firm preferable but not essentialHigh level of personal motivation and driveStrong grasp of accounting concepts, ethics, and international accounting standardsExperience with consolidated group management reporting and cross-border accounting preferred but not essentialExperience using Oracle ERPComputer literacy including extensive experience with MS Word, Excel and other desktop software packages essentialFormal qualifications at degree level in a relevant discipline together with membership of a recognised accounting body essential
