Job TitleFinance AnalystJob Description SummaryThe purpose of this role is assisting with reporting and analysis, managing relevant financial and non-financial information plus supporting the Finance Management Team in all relevant contract deliverables.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Monthly ReportingTimely delivery of client's monthly finance requirements, including the following key aspects:Journals, analysis, and commentary relating to month endIdentification, tracking and supporting delivery of initiativesRegular meetings with operational colleagues to support and ensure their financial deliverables are met as part of the overall reporting calendar.Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, including provisions, prepayments and provide movement/ variance commentary where required.
This includes actions to manage and clear outstanding queries and / or aged itemsBudgets/ PlanningAssist in the delivery of the client's annual budgets and periodic forecastsAssist with bottom-up build of each individual property's cost base including rent, outgoings, utilities, facilities management costs and contractual/other price escalations.Analytical reviews (e.g.
year on year, walkthroughs) and deep understanding of outputs.
Completion of presentations to each business stream (e.g.
facilities management, property management and procurement).Risk Control And Project ImprovementAdhere to procedures relating to all client finance related controls and Cushman & Wakefield SOX controls.
This involves working with the client teams and liaising with internal and potentially external auditors.Proactively review systems / processes to innovate and continuously improve the business performance and workplace experienceOthersPerforms other duties as requested by your direct managerOccasional requirement to work extended hours during peak times or to assist with major functions/eventsDevelopment/ maintenance of operational standards / process maps and playbooks / operating manuals for all aspects of the businessBackground And ExperienceDemonstrated ability to work autonomously and work as part of a specialised professional teamAbility to work with many stakeholders to get the right outcome for the team and the clientAbility to challenge in a constructive manner, cope with pressure, prioritise workload and meet agreed timetables Qualifications & Technical SkillsStrong verbal and written communication skills.
Presentation to finance and non-finance stakeholdersIT skills, including advanced level in Excel, PowerBI.
Anaplan knowledge is advantageousJDE knowledge is advantageousPreferably Australian citizens or permanent residents.
