Fleet Supervisor (Cement) Division: Boral Constr Mat Limited Department: Overhead Cement Work type: Permanent - full time Location: Brisbane Your next opportunity Fleet Supervisor Logistics is an impactful role within Boral's Cement business unit and is responsible for overseeing QLD Cement Tanker Operations.
Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor Cement, this role has responsibility to safely, effectively and efficiently manage company fleet and depot assets with a focus on company drivers, subcontractors and hauliers to deliver cementitious products to our customers while maintaining safe and regulatory compliant supply chain.
Your day will involve: As a WHS role model, provide effective supervision and implement procedures and procedures to ensure a safe working environment is maintained for employees, visitors, volunteers, contractors or others at Boral workplaces.
Lead and manage a team of company drivers, hauliers and subcontractors ensuring customer requirements are met safely and effectively Manage HR/IR issues with support from functional leads Ensure asset/fleet compliance and availability Manage customer relationships with Boral Concrete, External Customers and sub-contractors What are we looking for?
Supply chain, logistics or transport experience with understanding of heavy vehicles and equipment Suitable tertiary qualification in supply chain or logistics Proven track record of people management Cost management and business improvement experience Risk and Safety management exposure with a Cert IV in WHS What's on offer?
