Job Description
About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth for the assigned category and brands within Australia, specifically Nature's Way Beauty, Probiotics, Protein and Superfoods. This includes developing and executing effective marketing strategies and sales initiatives to enhance market share and profitability.
Additionally, you will lead a brand team, overseeing the management of the category and brand portfolio to ensure sustained success and growth.
The main responsibilities of the role will include:
* Management of full P&L for category/brands, including driving and actioning measures to optimise profitability. Develop and adhere to marketing budgets.
* Responsible for A & P budget management. Planning, processing and budget reconciliation within FY.
* Completing monthly report (sales and profitability).
* Involvement in monthly demand review meetings.
* Drives strategic direction for optimum brand and category growth in Australia, including innovation within the brands to provide growth within new product segments.
* Oversee all marketing activities and plans for the brands, ensuring all deadlines are met.
* Plans and oversees the category/brands advertising and promotional activities.
* Evaluates marketing plans to determine effectiveness.
* New product development, range deletion, extensions, new label design. Launch of products on time with support programs in place at launch.
* Ensure optimum support for the sales and account management teams in line with marketing objectives.
* Development and presentation of marketing plans for the category/ brands.
* Ensuring communication of category/brand activities and results to senior management team as needed.
* Develop a strong knowledge of the key market segments, regular reviewing Aztec data, market analysis.
* Conduct market research to determine market requirements for the category/brands and new products.
* Analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information.
* Participation at account reviews and the development of trade presentations.
* Ensure compliance of all company policies and procedures.
Desired Skills and Experience
About you
* Previous marketing manager experience or equivalent, having worked across all areas of the marketing mix, including new product development.
* In-depth understanding of grocery and/or pharmacy brands and retail channels.
* A self-starter - must be able to work autonomously and have the drive to grow the portfolio - always looking for and identifying opportunities.
* Must be passionate about your portfolios.
* Leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
