We are seeking individuals with a professional background in Exercise Physiology interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector in Wagga Wagga NSW area.

Providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological and supporting them to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.
This opportunity working as a Rehabilitation Consultant stands out as you will also get exposure delivering some of IPAR’s innovative services including our pain education Re-thinking Recovery program. This program centres around using virtual reality and modern pain science to help people understand pain and re-train their brain and body. Re-thinking recovery is used in collaboration with a client’s current healthcare approach and will involve engagement with the entire treating team to ensure that the service is focused on the client.
Duties of the role include:
* Case management (caseloads are manageable, and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks);
* Applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes;
* Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs;
* Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals;
* Completing a variety of assessments using your clinical and discipline specific allied health skills, such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments;
* Deliver our innovative virtual reality pain education program, Re-thinking Recovery.
Qualifications
You'll be a driven and energetic professional with hopefully all of the qualities below!
* Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology registration with ESSA and SIRA Accreditation;
* Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry would be highly regarded;
* Fabulous communication skills - there is a lot of getting to know your clients and stakeholders!;
* Compassion and kindness always go a long way as does empathy;
* It's the kind of career where well developed time management skills are a must & plus!;
* A current NSW Driver’s License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance is a must.
