Job Opportunity for Women in Mining: CAT 793F Dump Truck Operator Training

We have an opportunity for women currently employed in the mining sector to train on CAT 793F dump trucks. The training program runs for 12 months.
After completing the 12-month training, you will be competent to work on-site as a high-performing dump truck operator.
About the Training:
* Location: On-site in the Pilbara region at an iron ore mine.
* Roster: 8/6 days | 7/7 nights. You will be trained to operate during day and night shifts and in all weather conditions.
* Training: Includes both theory and practical components, ensuring you become a top teir operator.
About You:
* Female Applicants Only: This position is part of a special/equal opportunity measure under Section 31 of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 (WA). We aim to increase the representation of women and support diversity and inclusion in the sector.
* Experience: Currently employed in mining (12 months+ experience) and familiar with FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out) lifestyle.
* Safety: A strong personal commitment to workplace safety and your own health. You must pass a pre-employment medical, as well as drug and alcohol screening.
* Background Check: Hold a clear police record dated within the past six months or be willing to obtain one.
* Driver's License: A full driver's license (no P plates).
* Availability: Commitment to a 12-month training program without long holidays planned.
* Resume: Provide a resume demonstrating consistent work history to reflect your commitment to steady employment.
* Perth Residents Only: Full working rights required
About the Recruitment Process:
* Following your application (if suited to the above criteria), you will be contacted for a telephone interview. We will then prepare your application to present to our client. From here a group assessment centre and interview is held with our client. Successful candidates will then commence on site.
