Our purpose isgreat care every day .About your opportunityProvide an efficient and effective accounting service for the Care Recipients of Eventide Residential Aged Care Facility, and a high level of administrative and financial support to the Director of Nursing/Facility Manager and Business Services Manager as applicable to service operations.Key Responsibilities:Thorough understanding of appropriate accounting procedures and management of trust and general fund monies, including an understanding of the Financial Management Practice Manual.Ability to collate and analyse data and provide reports within required timeframes.Demonstrated ability to quickly acquire knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and Queensland Health software information systems including S4 Hanna, MANADS.Proven ability to work effectively, both autonomously and within a multi-disciplinary team environment, and to communicate effectively with care recipients, their families, and staff.Ability to establish credibility with a wide range of people both internal and external through a professional work ethic and high-level written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated ability to use initiative to identify opportunities for improvement to resolve problems.Possession of tact, diplomacy, and discretion in the performance of the duties and responsibilities associated with the position.Thorough understanding of legislative requirements of Workplace Health and Safety, Public Finance Standards, and Health Services Act.What's on offer:Generous remuneration packagevalue up to $9514 p.m. comprising:Salary range of $3481.60 to $3835.70 p.f.
