Responsibilities
* Take full ownership of the organisation's tax affairs, strategy, and compliance framework across an international business.
* Lead and develop a high-performing tax team, ensuring best practices and strategic alignment.
* Oversee tax compliance, ensuring accurate and timely filings across income tax, GST, fringe benefits tax, payroll tax, and international tax matters.
* Manage tax risk, governance, and compliance across all entities, aligning with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
* Develop and implement strategic group tax planning initiatives that optimise efficiency and mitigate risk.
* Maintain and enhance transfer pricing policies, documentation, and international tax compliance.
* Manage relationships with state and federal revenue authorities, ensuring proactive engagement and compliance under regulatory programs.
* Provide high-level tax advisory support on business transactions, structural changes, and legal contracts.
* Clearly communicate material tax risks and opportunities to executive leadership, ensuring informed decision-making.
Candidate Profile
You are a senior tax professional with deep corporate tax expertise, strong commercial acumen, and proven leadership ability.
* CA, CPA, or Master of Tax, with a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or Law.
* 10+ years of corporate tax experience in complex environments.
* Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
* Strategic thinking with sharp analytical and problem-solving ability.
* Expert stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and communication.
* Ability to interpret complex tax legislation and provide practical solutions.
* Proven ability to lead, influence, and drive change.
