Our main laboratory is based in Deakin, Canberra and we can provide employees with the opportunity to become part of an Australian wide medical testing laboratory network focused on medical leadership and expert advice. We provide services to medical practitioners, private hospitals and aged care facilities in both the ACT and regional surrounds (Southern Tablelands, Snowy Mountains and South Coast NSW).
We have a position available for a highly motivated specialist to join our team in delivering high quality Anatomical Pathology services with an emphasis on Dermatopathology.
Day to Day Duties include
* Diagnose and interpret Dermatopathology specimens
* Work closely with other pathologists and healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnoses
* Participate in clinical case discussions, multidisciplinary meetings and quality improvement initiatives
* Engage with our providers and build relationships within the medical community to contribute towards driving our business
* Participate in Quality Assurance Programs (QAP)
* Participation in on call/after hours roster
* Participation in the Frozen Section roster

About you
* Fellowship (FRCPA) or equivalent qualification
* Be eligible for Specialist Registration with AHPRA
* Strong diagnostic skills and experience in anatomical pathology or dermatopathology
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and quality patient care
