The role:
We’re looking for a mixologist who is a passionate and creative professional who elevates the art of cocktail making, continuously pushing boundaries to craft unique and delightful drinking experiences for our guests.
In addition to your technical skills, you’ll need to possess the ability to work in a team, be guest focused, engage with customers, recommend drinks based on their preferences, and educate them about the ingredients and techniques used in the cocktails. You’ll also be involved in creating custom drink menus and conducting tastings.
What your day could look like:
* Help ensure the continued smooth running of the Living Space bar
* Assist the Living Space manager and senior mixologist in designing the cocktail menu
* Assist the Living Space manager and senior mixologist with stock ordering and stock control
* Work on both the bar and on the floor if required
* Prepare beverages (hot/cold) to the required standard
* Continually build upon company and product knowledge
* Keeping your section clean and tidy, including the floor area
* Ensure all bills are closed and correctly charged to the room, whether paid by cash or credit card (as instructed)
* Inform your supervisor/manager of any guest-related issues or non-payment of bills
Job skills and requirements:
* A friendly and outgoing personality
* A passion for providing the best customer service possible
* Previous bartending or mixologist experience
* Ability to work in a team
* Attention to detail
* The ability to remain calm under pressure
