Ideal candidate should have 1- 2 years of experience in Indian Cuisine and perform the following duties
* Monitoring food items to ensure the food quality and freshness
* Working along with the head chef to prepare various special cuisines as per the requirements
* Preparing and cooking food on the menu and customising food items to meet special dietary requirements
* Discussing food preparation issues with the cooks,Managers and kitchen staff
* Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment
* Bake, roast, grill and steam meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods, Seasoning food during cooking
* Ensuring that the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times
* Working along with the head chef, Planning menus, considering food costs, special events, and occasion needs
* Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements
* Keep a sanitised and orderly environment in the kitchen
* Supervising Cooks and other kitchen staff
* work on tandoor when required
* Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedure
* Freeze and Preserve food items
* Operate and maintain all Kitchen equipment and reporting of malfunctioning
* Understanding and enforcing hygiene regulations.
