Job Summary
As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to produce high-quality video content for our website, social media platforms, and advertising campaigns. Your responsibilities will also include product photography, graphic design, email marketing, and attending industry events.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Video Production: Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to create regular, high-quality video content that aligns with our business objectives and brand identity.
* Coordinate film schedules, write scripts, and develop storyboards.
* Operate video and photography equipment in both studio and on-location settings.
* Be willing to appear on camera if required.
* Edit video content, including assembly, grading, title cards, effects, compositing, captions, and more.
* Prepare content for publication on various media platforms, including our website, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, digital retail signage, and more.
Photography:
* Photograph Scorptec Ready-to-Run Gaming PCs and Workstations.
* Edit, composite, and export images for use on our website, social media, and other channels.
Graphic Design:
* Produce graphic content for videos, social media, email, print, and banners, including infographics, titles, end cards, advertisements, and more.
Email Marketing:
* Assist in producing email marketing campaigns, including creating graphics for emails.
* Proofread our weekly email marketing content.
* Report on campaign performance.
Events and Expos:
* Assist in planning and attending expos and industry events, such as PAX, Intel Extreme Masters, and DreamHack.
* Produce video and photo content both at and around these events.
Requirements:
* Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a video production role, preferably within the tech or gaming industry.
* Extensive practical experience with all aspects of video production, including storyboarding, script writing, set dressing, lighting, videography, editing, mastering, special effects, color grading, captions, animations, voiceovers, thumbnail design, and more.
* Experience operating imaging equipment, including cameras, lenses, sliders, lighting, etc.
* Proficiency in graphic design, photo editing, and compositing.
* Intimate knowledge of Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Illustrator.
* Ability to communicate ideas clearly and succinctly to both creative and non-creative audiences.
* Capacity to work collaboratively in a small team.
* Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback.
* Intimate understanding of gaming, tech, and online meme culture.
* Attention to detail and pride in work, with a constant drive to upskill and improve.
* Advantageous but not required: Basic HTML and CSS knowledge.
* Qualifications in business, marketing, advertising, or film.
* Pay range: $55,000 - $65,000 excluding superannuation.
* Candidates selected will be contacted for an interview, which may include a submission of previous works and a production challenge.
