Fluor Perth are seeking a Senior planner to support a team of planners and ensure Fluor’s planning expertise excels. We rely on Primavera P6 for our Clients projects. This Senior role requires advanced planning and schedule prowess from a prolonged planning career that incorporates knowledge across types of industries (Mining, Infrastructure, Oil & Gas etc) and major Client bases, both nationally and locally.The purpose of this position is to plan and execute the Project Controls requirements of the project, assisting the Planning discipline but supporting Cost and Project Delivery functions.This role is responsible for providing technical and administrative direction, coordination, evaluation to a team of Project Controls specialists in the Planning Discipline. This position serves as Senior on medium and large-sized projects. Acting as a key resource on a project team, the role will require collaboration at all levels, including: client representatives, Fluor management and functional/project delivery leads.Your main role duties would be:Develop Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures for control and integrity of work defined by the contract.Develop totally integrated engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction (EPFC) schedules programs. Recommend solutions or recovery plans to schedule or cost impact or delays.Analyze schedule, review delays, propose schedule recovery alternatives and present them to internal groups as well as the client.Analyze variances in schedule performance against the plan, and communicate the reasons for the issuance of variance and proposed mitigation plans to Project Management.Coordinate estimate development with the Project Estimator.Participate in internal and external audits.Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines.Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines.Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards.Adhere to and support Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies.About You:Accredited ten (10) years of work-related experience with at least five (5) being in Engineering Planning.Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.Prominent levels of job knowledge.Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal statutes and guidelines.Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.Proficiency in Primavera P6.Ecosys or similar experience preferable.Why Fluor:Being part of a truly global company, working on Tier 1 billion-dollar projects plus a significant project pipeline here at Fluor, we offer a rewarding long-term career and ongoing opportunities for development, all within a culture that truly values your contributions.
