Job Description atWork Australia (AWA) is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Job Coach to join our team in Burnie, Australia.As a Job Coach, you will play a crucial role in guiding our clients towards job readiness and connecting them with sustainable employment opportunities.This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on people's lives while working with a vibrant and collaborative team of employment services professionals.Provide one-on-one support to clients, helping them develop job-seeking skills and overcome employment barriers Conduct assessments to identify clients' strengths, skills, and areas for improvement Create personalized action plans to enhance clients' employability and career prospects Build and maintain relationships with local employers to source job opportunities Reverse market clients to potential employers, highlighting their unique skills and abilities Place participants into sustainable employment, leading to positive outcomes Organize and facilitate job readiness workshops and training sessions Monitor clients' progress and provide ongoing support to ensure job retention Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, activities, and outcomes Collaborate with team members to share best practices and contribute to the overall success of the program Stay informed about local job market trends and employment opportunities Ensure all activities adhere to compliance and contractual requirements Qualifications Minimum of one year's experience in customer service or a client-facing role Demonstrated experience working with individuals overcoming challenges (preferred) Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients and stakeholders Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Proven ability to work towards and achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sustainable employment outcomes for clients Adaptability and flexibility in handling various client needs and situations Empathetic approach with a genuine desire to help others succeed Proficiency in using computer systems and databases for record-keeping Knowledge of local job market trends and employment opportunities in the Burnie area Problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome obstacles Confidence in liaising with multiple external and internal stakeholders Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Current driver's license and willingness to travel to nearby areas if required Background in social work, psychology, or human resources (beneficial but not required) Passion for atWork Australia's mission of connecting people and businesses to help both thrive Additional Information What we will give you: On the job training as well as ongoing career development and national opportunities; Access to MedHealth Academy including your own professional development plan, inclusive of individual training and mentoring; Job stability and guaranteed full-time hours; Achievable quarterly incentive scheme; Access to a range of benefits including discounts for health insurance, access to psychology services, ability to purchase additional leave, roadside assistance and paid parental leave.
