Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role will involve the design, implementation, and optimisation of water and wastewater treatment solutions.The engineer will take projects from conceptual design through to on-site build and commissioning, a unique advantage compared to many client-side or consultancy roles.Key Responsibilities Include:Providing engineering support and design input from initial proposals to project delivery, focusing on water treatment plants.Leveraging deep knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes to optimise system performance.Conducting process and hydraulic design for treatment equipment and ensuring project feasibility.Performing operational analysis to enhance safety, quality, and cost-efficiency in treatment plants.Overseeing quality assurance, design engineering sign-offs, and performance testing during construction and commissioning phases.Reviewing plant/process designs for final optimisation and improvements.Participating actively in risk assessments, HAZOPs, and safety-in-design workshops.Building and maintaining strong client relationships to facilitate ongoing business growth.About YouThe successful candidate will possess tertiary qualifications in Chemical or Process Engineering and bring extensive experience in Australian process design engineering.
