The branch works to deliver excellent user experiences with a strong focus on user engagement, flexible and effective agile delivery. Our solutions enable Australians to skill and reskill in response to changing technology and workforce needs.Reporting to the Chief Digital Officer, First Assistant Secretary of the Digital Solutions Division, the Assistant Secretary for the Digital Solutions Skills and Training Branch will lead the work of multiple sections with responsibility for a portfolio of digital products through their full life cycle, this includes the following responsibilities:Lead the engagement with stakeholders to design, plan and sequence future digital investments aligned to DEWR and Whole of Government strategies.Delivery of a large program of work for the Skills and Training Group.Support and management of a number of critical business systems that support Skills and Training business outcomes.Skills and ExperienceTo be successful in this position, you will have the following skills and experience:Demonstrated experience planning, leading, and executing the delivery of large ICT projects in a complex environment with a range of stakeholders.Demonstrated understanding of project, program and portfolio governance frameworks and exceptional financial and business acumen.Demonstrated understanding of how technology can be harnessed to deliver business value.
