Caloundra GWM are seeking an enthusiastic car washer to join the team. This position is a full-time entry-level position suitable for school leavers right through to an experienced detailer and the hourly rate will be based upon experience. The successful applicant will be responsible for the cleanliness (internal and external) of all vehicles displayed at both dealerships in addition to used car detailing. Caloundra GWM are part of the Pacific Hyundai dealership group comprising of 3 dealerships at Caloundra, Kunda Park and Gympie. About the role The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all vehicles are detailed to a high standard and maintaining the cleanliness of the dealership yard. This full-time position requires strong communication skills, prior vehicle detailing experience (desirable), and a current manual driver's licence (mandatory). You will report to the Service Manager and you will be responsible for: Inspect vehicles for any damages or defects and report findings to the appropriate personnel. Utilise various cleaning agents, tools, and equipment to achieve optimal results while ensuring the safety and integrity of the vehicle. Uphold company standards for quality and efficiency in all detailing tasks. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate workflow and ensure timely completion of assignments. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of detailing area and equipment. So who are we looking for? Previous experience in vehicle detailing is preferred but not required; training can be provided. Strong attention to detail and ability to work meticulously to achieve high-quality results. Physical stamina and dexterity to perform repetitive tasks and work in various environmental conditions. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and procedures. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also capable of working independently with minimal supervision Current manual driver's licence (MANDATORY).
