In this role, you will report directly to the Director and take charge of delivering major commercial projects within the Metro area. You will play a key role in managing client relationships, maintaining quality control, and overseeing contractors. Additionally, you will ensure the quality and approval of materials, tender, and construction plans, while ensuring competence, coordination, and completeness across all stages. Monitor installation progress, quality, and program deadlines for multiple projects; organize site labor, plant, deliveries, and materials. Ensure compliance with project scope, design details, and oversee quality control and safety through SWMS, OHS, and ITP documentation. Maintain accurate site records, including daily diaries, photos, and reports on weather, delays, and site conditions. Communicate efficiently with builders and customers through RFIs and emails, followed by phone calls to ensure clarity and coordination. Oversee logistical coordination, including deliveries, crane lifts, machinery, and protection as per project requirements. Conduct site water tests, problem-solve installation details, and ensure façade engineering details are followed. Attend training sessions for relevant software, Australian standards, and upskilling in various industry tools and procedures. Skills and Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in project management, preferably in the construction, fabrication or windows and glass installation industry Tertiary or Trade Qualification in a building related discipline Experience with Dashpivot/Fieldwire/Bluebeam/Logikal is desirable Have a good understanding of the construction / building industry or any relevant industry. Strong understanding of construction codes, building quotes and regulations Strong leadership and presentation skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Highly organised with the ability to prioritise, multitask in fast-paced environment with strong attention to details Ability to work independently, unsupervised and as part of the team.
