About the Role:
At Uniting AgeWell, the quality of life and experiences of our clients are at the heart of everything we do. We currently have part-time employment opportunities supporting clients throughout Swan Hill LGA.
Position: Home Care Domestic Support Worker
Location: Swan Hill and Surrounding Communities
Employment Type: Part-time
Days: Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing domestic assistance as the primary focus
* Offering social support and transportation services when required
* Assisting clients in maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe living environment
* Observing and reporting any changes in clients' physical, emotional, or behavioral status
* Ensuring the safety and upkeep of clients’ clothing and personal belongings
* Delivering exceptional customer service by building friendly, supportive, and professional relationships with clients and their relatives
* Respecting clients’ rights, cultural, spiritual, and individual needs in all aspects of care
About You: You are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of our clients, helping them live to their fullest potential while staying in their homes. This is the role for you if you have:
* Previous experience in home care or providing domestic support (desirable)
* A current Victorian Driver’s Licence
* A registered, roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
* Current First Aid and CPR certificates, or a willingness to obtain them
* A solid understanding of person-centered care
* A commitment to maintaining high standards for clients and their families
* The ability to thrive in a team environment, while also valuing one-on-one interactions
* A desire to contribute to our BEST way of life (Believe, Excel, Support, and Trust)
Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must have or be willing to obtain:
* A Working With Children Check (Employee)
* A satisfactory National Criminal Police Record Check OR NDIS Worker Screening Check
