Reporting to the Regional Director of Revenue Management this position is an integral part of our Revenue management team and a rare opportunity to take your career to the next level with The Langham Hotels & Resorts.
The Revenue Executive is a key player in the Revenue Management team, dedicated to maximizing the hotel's revenue streams and profitability. This is achieved through effective pricing strategies, meticulous room inventory management, thorough market trend analysis and driving new initiatives.
What you would be doing Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Revenue Management Strategy & Operations Work closely with the Regional Director of Revenue Management in analysing business trends and determine best strategies accordingly.Deploy effective Revenue Management Practices to grow the property's rooms, F&B, Catering and Spa revenues to drive market share growthEnsure optimal pricing for all market segments, specifically focusing on Retail, Corporate and Groups.Analyse competitive rates daily and ensure the hotel is positioned for the most optimal performance. Assist RDORM of effective updates of rates in IDeaS RMSImplement pricing as per LHG global pricing policies.Ensure all rate and package loading is accurate and efficient through all distribution channelsEnsure that the hotel has the optimal market mix to maximize revenues and profitability.Produce occupancy/demand forecast weekly; deploy transient and group inventory restrictions and pricing strategies designed to maximize revenue from a rate and occupancy perspective.Ensure forecasts are within +-3% accuracy to ensure accurate manpower and cost planningReport on all upselling strategies and revenue increases; analyse and instigate new strategiesOversee management of group block activity and provide group quotes in the absence of RDORM.Prepare and present weekly revenue meeting and distribute weekly revenue meeting minutes, in the absence of RDORMSupport RDORM in the yearly Budget processEnsure that pricing decisions are appropriately folded into the distribution channel strategies of the hotel, specifically for LHG websites, OTAs and GDS.Ensure all rate and package loading is accurate and efficient through all distribution channelsOversee management of group block activity and provide group quotes in the absence of RDORMWho we're looking for We're looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business or other related field.Strong desire to build a career in Revenue Management A can-do attitude where learning is second nature, needs to be hungry to win and challenge the status quo.Builds rapport and is a team player.Business acumen and developing analytical skills. Skills in Excel, BI, VBA or other business intelligence tools would be advantageous.Ability to convince others of business ideas based on logical data-based facts. Able to hold an opinion in a group environment.Able to present ideas and large volumes of information clearly and concisely
