HR Officer - Recent graduate/entry level welcome

They are currently seeking a HR Officer to join their team in Crestmead, QLD. This role is ideal for an entry-level human resources professional looking to develop their skills in a dynamic and growing industry.
Role outline
Providing advice and support with the day to day operations of the HR function on all HR matters including review legislation and administrative tasks. This role requires someone proactive and self-sufficient with experience in continuous improvement. This position would suit someone driven to succeed, professional and energetic.
Responsibilities
1. Providing HR advice and support ensuring policies and procedures are applied.
2. Supporting the recruitment process from vacancy posting to interviewing and selection.
3. Preparing documentation relating to policies, training, resignations etc.
4. Assisting with strategy and achieving alignment with business objectives.
5. Setting appointments, managing calendars and taking meeting notes when requested.
6. Arranging and managing training activities throughout the business.
7. Maintaining employee files and making sure they are compliant and up to date.
8. Liaising with the external payroll provider to make sure all data is correct for processing.
9. Arranging and conducting employee onboarding including inductions and arranging enrolment on the benefit scheme including organization of insurance.
10. Providing support in other HR-related functions, such as health and safety initiatives, HR reporting, and HR system updates.
11. Participating in HR projects as required.
Requirements
1. Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources is essential.
2. Experience in similar role is preferred.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively.
4. Ability to build rapport with the Managers and Employees.
5. The ability to multitask and understand what is priority.
6. Awareness of OHS Act and OHS Regulations.
7. Knowledge of Workplace Relations and compliant governance.
8. Residence Visa or Citizen or similar.
