Senior Accountant Needed, Swan Hill Based, Established Client Portfolio, $100,000+ Super

Hays Recruitment are assisting a well-known Accountancy firm in the Swan Hill region to recruit a Senior Accountant to look after a well established portfolio of clients. The organisation promotes work-life balance and this is an excellent opportunity for someone to progress their career in the finance sector, whilst maintaining a life outside of work.

Your new role

As part of this role, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, including but not limited to:

1. Creating various types of Income Tax Returns and Financial Statements, such as those for individuals, partnerships, companies, and trusts
2. Completing bookkeeping duties and preparing Business Activity Statements
3. Conducting client consultations and meetings
4. Managing a portfolio of clients
5. Reviewing the work of team members, based on your level of experience.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Current membership in CA, CPA or an equivalent professional organisation
2. High proficiency in MS Office, MYOB, Xero, and Reckon Software
3. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
