Senior Administration Officer - Centre for Digital Cultures and Societies We are seeking an experienced, motivated, energetic and highly organised Senior Administration Officer to support the effective and efficient operation of the Centre for Digital Cultures and Societies.
In this role, you will provide a wide range of senior administrative services to support the effective and efficient operation of the Centre for Digital Cultures and Societies.
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Develop and manage administrative processes, systems, and protocols to meet business needs, ensuring efficiency and consistency.
Provide advanced support for various administrative activities, including academic committees, complex inquiries, and policy interpretation.
Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the operational objectives of the function/department.
Manage financial tasks within delegation limits and oversee travel arrangements, including planning and reconciliation.
Support and coordinate events, seminars, and other engagement activities, liaising with key contacts and guest speakers.
This is a part-time (80% FTE), fixed-term position until 30 June 2028 at HEW Level 6.
About You Candidates require highly effective administration, coordination and interpersonal communication skills and demonstrate a commitment to providing a high level of customer service.
A degree with subsequent relevant experience; or extensive experience and specialist expertise or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills and clear, effective written and verbal communication.
A high level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook).
Office management skills and capabilities, as well as skills in project coordination.
Demonstrated ability to understand and apply a range of rules, policies and processes with regard to the regulatory and legislative context.
Highly effective organisational, time management and problem solving skills.
Working knowledge of University administrative systems, policies and procedures or the capacity to rapidly acquire this knowledge.
