Job Description
The Role
Due to a strong project pipeline, we are looking for a Principal / Associate Electrical Engineer to join our Building Services Team, based in Perth.
This role would suit an experienced Building Services Electrical Engineer with exposure to multi-disciplinary projects. You will have the opportunity to lead and run your own projects across a range of market sectors, with a particular focus on; defence, transport, education and local council projects.
What will a day in this role look like:
* Extensive, relevant experience delivering and leading Building Services projects in a client-facing role as an Associate or Principal Electrical Engineer.
* Demonstrated experience in preparing technical design documentation alongside leading and running electrical engineering components of major projects.
* Play a key role in the teams’ success by participating in project planning, design delivery, the mentoring of junior staff and generating new business leads.
* Utilise your expertise in electrical services design by providing high-quality design services across lighting, general and specialist power, earthing/lightning protection, and power distribution & reticulation.
* Provide leadership and mentor younger engineers within the broader AECOM business whilst liaising with Engineers across various disciplines on a variety of projects.
Qualifications

What are we looking for from you?
* Demonstrated project experience working to Australian Standards with exposure to Defence, State and/or Federal Government Projects.
* Understanding and working knowledge of working within an Engineering consultancy environment on Building Services projects.
* Bachelor of Electrical Engineering Degree with CPEng or working towards CPEng being highly desirable.
* Proficiency with industry standard software (MS Office, AutoCAD, PowerCAD, Dialux, Blue Beam) ideally with prior experience with CAD/Revit (desirable).
* Defence clearance (or ability to obtain)
