Charles Sturt University is seeking a visionary Director of Farming Operations to spearhead the development and implementation of the “OneCharles Sturt Farm Strategy.” This role will consolidate and optimise our diverse farming operations across the university, ensuring they meet academic, research and external engagement needs in a financially sustainable manner.As the Director, you will coordinate and manage the short, medium, and long-term activities and plans of Charles Sturt farming operations. You will navigate the complex interactions and demands of multiple stakeholders, including faculties, research institutes, external partners, and AgriPark functions (the Global Digital Farm and Cool Soils). Leading a core team of 10+ staff, you will drive the evolution of the “OneCharles Sturt Farm Strategy” and establish our farms as benchmarks of best practice in Australian agriculture.Not living in Wagga Wagga or nearby?
