About the role
As our People Operations Adviser, you'll help support our employee lifecycle, drive operational excellence in HR processes, and contribute to building our people-first culture at Fresh. You’ll be key in shaping how we attract, develop, and keep top talent.
You’ll team up closely with the People & Talent Lead, business leaders, and employees to deliver people-focused solutions that fuel our growth.
What you'll do
1. Support and improve P&C processes like onboarding, off-boarding, benefits administration, and compliance.
2. Be the first point of contact for employee questions, providing timely and effective support on policies, procedures, and systems.
3. Help roll out and continuously improve our People Tech Stack (Rippling, Notion, Canva) to ensure a smooth employee experience.
4. Partner with managers to drive engagement, performance, and development initiatives.
5. Assist in keeping accurate employee records and HR reporting, making sure we’re compliant with local employment laws.
6. Collaborate on culture and employee experience initiatives to create a workplace where people thrive.
7. Support change management efforts as we scale, keeping employees informed and engaged.
About you
You thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments and enjoy improving processes, solving people challenges, and delivering a seamless employee experience. You’re detail-oriented but can also step back and think about creating an amazing workplace.
We'd love you to have :
1. 3+ years of experience in People Operations, HR, or similar roles.
2. A solid understanding of HR best practices and employment laws in Australia.
3. Experience with HRIS platforms for managing employee data and workflows.
4. Great problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and find solutions.
5. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills—you’re approachable and people trust you.
6. A passion for scaling people and culture initiatives in a high-growth environment.
