The Transport Accident Commission (TAC) is a Victorian Government- owned organisation whose role is to promote road safety, support those who have been injured on our roads and help them get their lives back on track. Under a ‘no-fault’ scheme the TAC covers the costs of injuries and offers support services for individuals injured on Victorian roads regardless of fault in an accident. Additionally, the TAC plays a crucial role in promoting road safety across the state.
Reporting to the Executive General Manager, Enterprise Transformation, the General Manager Transformation Engagement will contribute strategically in identifying and scoping opportunities to enable the delivery of the TAC strategic plan. The General Manager Transformation Engagement will lead the Transformation Engagement branch. The branch partners with the business conducting comprehensive needs analysis and evaluation through to ideation phase. To support the delivery of TAC’s strategic plan, this role will set the enterprise architectural frame, provide insight to deliver services, optimize technology investment, and govern the Enterprise Transformation Delivery Program and supporting capabilities Furthermore, the General Manager Transformation Engagement has responsibility to provide advice which informs the TAC’s investment cycle and ensures the delivery of transformation program with necessary capabilities and agreed service levels.
To be considered for this role, you will be a proven executive leader leading organisational transformation strategies and programs. You will exhibit exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving prowess, complemented by outstanding commercial acumen and deep business knowledge. You will have foundational technology skills and understanding of enterprise architecture. You will have demonstrated experience in program governance, risk management and capability management. You will demonstrate expertise in design thinking, along with robust analytical and modeling capabilities. Exceptional communication and presentation skills are crucial. The candidate must excel in collaborative work environments, effectively influencing stakeholders. An innovative mindset and adaptability to change are essential, supported by extensive experience in managing substantial operating expenditures and capital investment budgets.
