What you’ll be doing
The objective of the Finance Analyst role is to provide key financial insights, business partnering, and support for the Product and Customer divisions.
The Customer, and Digital FP&A team is responsible for providing valued financial and business insight to support senior management in making effective business decisions. This also includes the provision of structured/adhoc reporting and analysis, budget development whilst ensuring the identification of key business drivers, and the fostering of positive working relationships with business stakeholders.
* Assist in the preparation and presentation of the management packs for the portfolio
* Assist in delivery of budget and forecasts in a timely manner that meets strategic and financial deliverables for the portfolio
* Maintain a solid working relationship with Group Finance and key external stakeholders
* Provide commercial and strategic support to the Senior
* Monitor and appropriately challenge senior leaders on business performance and targets, reduce conservatism and increase accuracy
* Assist with the provision of ad-hoc, value add financial analysis that ultimately drives value into the business
* Assist with the development of business performance reporting dashboard
* Assist with the development of financial models
You’ll be great in this role if you…
* Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business, Commerce, Economics or similar
* Minimum 2-5 years' experience in a Finance or Commercial role
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience managing stakeholders and presenting data insights to key stakeholders
* Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to build models, use pivot tables, formulas and look-ups. PowerBI and data analysis skills are desirable
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment with competing priorities
