Due to ongoing project success within our Hobart team, we are now seeking a Senior / Associate Civil Engineer to provide consultancy, engineering services, technical input and direction in design across a range of major projects for our ever-growing Roads & Highways division. The successful candidates will work alongside the Principal Engineers whilst supporting project delivery, design management and project management, for positioning and winning projects involving a range of services. Primary responsibilities include the development of Road and Civil Design documentation, reports and specifications of Engineering solutions as well as giving technical input and advice with respect to Road & Civil infrastructure in accordance with relevant industry/client, Australian and International Standards. Here's what you'll need: Appropriate relevant Qualifications (e.g., Degree in Civil Engineering) Knowledge and experience of Road & Highway design, engineering principles, methods, and deliverables for infrastructure projects Demonstrated experience working in a senior capacity on a range of Road & Highway projects Ability to provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior to mid-level staff Ability to perform steadily during peak workload and remain calm under pressure Ability to drive a culture of inclusive, high-performing integrated teams At Jacobs, we support your personal life and career journeys.
