As Group Travel Team Leader you will lead with a customer-centric mindset, maintaining measured commercial and business sense that drives successful customer and business-related outcomes and goals. As part of the wider Group Travel team, you will be accountable for relationship management and customer retention, growth, and profitability. This role is a blend of hands-on operational and team leadership responsibilities. You will always demonstrate a culture of support, psychological safety, and success for your team. You will be instrumental in their development and performance, including assisting them on their pathway to their Brightness of Future (BOF).You are an organised individual; you can work autonomously and collaboratively on fast moving projects and balance that seamlessly with living the Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) & FCM Meetings & Events (FCM M&E) DNA. You will be responsible for:
1. Contribute to the overall performance, growth, and development of the group travel team nationally.
2. Supporting continual improvement and excellence in service
3. Fostering a collaborative and productive team culture.
4. Assessing, troubleshooting and providing solutions to a varying range of customer scenarios
5. Maximise productivity of both individual Travel Managers and blended project teams through training, development, and operational support.
6. Play a lead role in driving customer partnerships including strategic planning, MLR development, new business conversion and incumbent business growth.
You will have:
7. Extensive travel or MICE industry experience
8. Minimum 3 years previous leadership experience in a customer facing role
9. Drive and ambition to achieve and exceed goals
10. Superior presentation and negotiation skills
11. Excellent Time Management & communication skills
12. The ability to encourages and support the development of team members
13. A high degree of emotional intelligence
