Central Highlands Rural Health is currently accepting applications for a Registered Nurse to join the team at Daylesford Aged Care. Daylesford Aged Care/ Lumeah Lodge is a 30 bed aged care facility situated within the township of Daylesford close to the town centre and co-located within the Daylesford Hospital. We are an Age-Friendly Health Service delivering age friendly health care for older people, their family and their carers to reduce harm and improve their quality of life which is important to us. You will be working closely with our existing team and Nurse Unit Manager to provide both direct and in-direct care, ensuring we provide best care, every time for our Residential Aged residents. To be successful in this role you must demonstrate dedication to practice that acknowledges and supports the dignity, culture and values of each individual in our care as well as our team. The Registered Nurse is an integral member of our multidisciplinary team who works to achieve a high standard of evidence-based care to ensure positive treatment outcomes that are closely aligned with what matters for each individual. In this role you undertake and contribute to the multidisciplinary assessment planning of residents and assume accountability and responsibility for your own practice based upon your level of educational preparation and competence.
