We currently have a fantastic opportunity for someone to enter the world of Offshore Wind as we support our client in finding them a Procurement & Supply Chain Analyst for their Melbourne office.
This person will support in the sourcing and supply chain cycle of their offshore wind project with a particular focus on the development phase, ensuring a robust supply chain to deliver the project requirements with the best commercial outcome.
Your role:Establish a deep understanding of the services, materials and equipment required for offshore wind projects
Plan for and oversee all sourcing activities
Work with the central function to tender for new products and services
Work with the Supply Chain and Local stakeholders to manage and develop solid relations with the related suppliers across the supply chain.
Drive the suppliers' performance through effective KPIs
Set out contractual documents that are fully compliant to support their business needs which are legally binding, mitigate any and all commercial risk
Your background:3-5 years experience in a supply chain, procurement or contract management field
Strong preference to someone who has worked within offshore industries or large scale infrastructure/engineering sectors
Knowledge of procurement and supply chain management
Analytical thinking and highly organised
