Contribute towards modernising the tax compliance processes and assist in shaping the way tax compliance is prepared and managed for the future.DutiesThis position has responsibility for the preparation of ANZ tax compliance and assisting with process improvements and overarching tax transformation project. The role supports the tax function by applying existing tax technical knowledge and experience to provide commercial outcomes that support the business. More specifically your duties will include:Preparation and support of corporate tax return process, and tax effect accounting and reporting process.Preparation of GST returns and FBT returns.Tax account GL reconciliations and payroll tax support.Monitor global tax compliance and progress and budgets.Assist with tax reviews and audits.Conducting tax research and keeping up to date with changes in tax law.Provide tax law guidance on day-to-day business activities and assist with process improvement projects.About YouAccounting degree majoring in Tax.CA/CPA qualified with 3 years plus commercial experience, ideally within corporate or consultancy environment.Excellent tax technical skill and tax compliance knowledge.Process improvement / tax transformation and change experience is desirable.Proficient in the use of SAP, Excel and BI.Self-motivated with desire to learn.Good communication, stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.Attention to detail with ability to see the broader picture.Highly organised with the ability to work under pressure and within agreed deadlines.A natural problem solver and lateral thinker who enjoys working in a fast paced, dynamic environment.All correspondence will be dealt with in strict confidence.SunRice is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
