About your role:
Provide high level evidence based occupational therapy clinical advice to multidisciplinary and occupational therapy teams to ensure services are patient centred, integrated and efficient.
Demonstrate highly developed communication skills with patients, their families and other internal and external stakeholders.
Utilise high level knowledge and expertise, clinical decision making, organisational and risk management skills to enhance safe and efficient service delivery on a daily basis.
Apply professional judgement and problem solving to manage a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence.
Provide direction, clinical practice supervision, education, mentoring and skill development of less experienced Occupational Therapy practitioners, Allied Health Assistants, support staff and students within scope of practice guidelines to ensure the development and maintenance of professional clinical standards.
Initiate, develop and implement quality and service improvement activities within prescribed timeframes, that enhance the delivery of services including the review of clinical practices, workplace procedures and protocols.
