Applications are sought for the position of Executive Support Officer (ESO) to the Under Treasurer, ACT Treasury, for a temporary vacancy commencing 1 July 2025 to 30 September 2025. This is a great opportunity for a high performing individual with Executive Assistance experience to work with senior ACT Treasury Executives. The Executive Support Officer to the Under Treasurer works, under limited direction, with the Coordination Manager, the Directorate Liaison Officer, the Executive Officer and Treasurer’s office, and also with other members of the Treasury executive team. The position manages the Under Treasurer’s communications and workflow; performs coordination, liaison, and event management functions; undertakes occasional research tasks and provides advice on specific issues. You will be excellent at prioritising your time and workload as well as being highly organised. You will also have an ability to manage issues sensitively and confidentially when required. Prior experience in a Treasury setting and knowledge of the ACTPS operating environment is not essential but would be looked upon favourably.
