Job Title: Experienced Solid Plasterer
About the Role
Riverina Plaster Works is seeking a skilled and qualified Solid Plasterer to join their team in Wagga Wagga.
Key Responsibilities
* Determine plasterboard layout, install insulation and vapour barriers
* Fix pre-cast cornices, panel mouldings, ceiling centres, and other plaster fittings
* Cover and fill joins and nail holes with wet plaster and sealing compounds, smooth using wet brushes and sandpaper
* Mix and apply coats of plaster, cement, and render to structures using trowels, level and smooth coats to uniform thickness
* Plumb and straighten corners, angles, wall, and ceiling surfaces, prepare corner beads, and secure them in position
* Apply and finish acoustic, insulating, and fireproofing materials bonded with plaster, plastic cement, and similar materials
Requirements
* A minimum of three years' experience as a qualified Solid Plasterer or equivalent
* Certificate (III) in Plastering or relevant
* Ability to work in a team environment
Working Conditions
This is a full-time position available
