We are looking for a Sales Senior Manager/Account Manager who will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients utilizing Amazon Web Services products and services. This is a quota carrying role responsible for the full sales cycle. You will utilise your sales experience to proactively engage with the new and existing customers and help them meet their business objectives. Role Key Objectives Establish and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders. Understand client business objectives and challenges to effectively position AWS services. Identify opportunities for account expansion and revenue growth. Collaborate with clients to understand their future needs and align AWS services accordingly. Provide clients with insights into AWS services and solutions that address their business requirements. Act as a trusted advisor, offering recommendations to optimize their use of AWS resources working with internal teams. Work closely with internal AWS technical teams to address client needs and resolve issues. Participate in contract negotiations, ensuring favourable terms for both the client and AWS. Monitor client satisfaction and address any concerns or issues promptly. Essential Skills Minimum 5-7 years selling & closing enterprise and SMB deals in the professional services space in two or more of the following areas: cloud enablement migration, modernization, cloud-native development, cloud-managed services, cloud cost optimizations (e.g., Fin OPS). Minimum of 4-5 years experience in direct sales with a quota of USD2-3 M+. Experience with C-Level client relationship building and relationship management. Industry experience in two or more sectors such as Banking, Insurance, Utilities, Retail, Telecom or Manufacturing. Strong understanding of AWS cloud computing services. Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets. Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, technology, or a related field.
