A vacancy exists for an Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team, working across Sydney Southwest Private and Campbelltown Private Hospitals. This is a 'hands-on' transactional role, reporting to the Director of Finance and Corporate Services. As an Assistant Accountant your responsibilities will include: Maintain and reconcile business performance statistics and reports Perform the accounts payable receipt, coding and approval process Administer float balances and reimburse staff expenses Prepare and manage sundry accounts receivable records and communications with stakeholders Assist in general ledger maintenance and reconciliation to supporting documents Support the Director of Finance in the preparation of management reports Provide backup support to other business services such as patient accounts as required About us Sydney Southwest Private Hospital is an 98 bed, 7 operating theatres acute surgical hospital that serves the needs of the local community at Liverpool and surrounds.
