Ensure all branch activities comply with relevant Acts, legal demands, and ethical standards. Maintain necessary contact with major customers and industry associations to achieve the objectives of the branch. Appraise the efficiency and performance of branch staff through the use of performance management principles. Sales Strategy & Planning Create and implement strategic sales plans for the region that align with company goals and objectives. Conduct market research to understand regional market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Predict sales targets and set achievable goals based on historical data and market potential. Work with the sales team to identify and engage potential clients to expand the customer base. Oversee key account performance, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, range expansion, and retention. Build and maintain relationships with key accounts in the region. Visit customers and relevant industry contacts with external sales reps to build rapport. Address and resolve any customer issues or complaints promptly and effectively. Use available software (QlikView, Greentree) to prepare and present regular sales reports, including performance metrics and progress towards monthly targets. Manage the regional sales budgets and conduct regular reviews to ensure monthly top-line sales & margin targets are being achieved. Continuously assess and improve sales processes and workflows for greater efficiency. Warehousing and Inventory Ensure all warehouse procedures & processes are followed and staff are trained appropriately. Ensure inventory control and warehousing structures for the flow of goods and products within the warehouse are developed, maintained, and improved. An experienced leader and strategic thinker with an enthusiasm to see your team succeed, you will: Demonstrate the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving sales/operational goals. Be analytical by interpreting sales & inventory data, performance metrics, and use this information to make informed decisions. Be productivity and safety focused. Have a high level of time management expertise with the ability to multitask and prioritize, while maintaining productivity and meeting targets.
