Come and join the Norweld family! THE OPPORTUNITY We have an exciting opportunity for a National Accounts Manager to join the Norweld team in our head office in Cairns. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the purpose of your role is to administer and support the delivery of our accounting and financial activities. This includes completing accounts payable and receivable tasks in accordance with company policies and procedures, with strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. A general understanding of payroll and bank reconciliation is desirable. Your responsibilities will include: Ensure accounts payable and receivable are reconciled, balanced and all duties are completed within company procedures and deadlines to uphold Norweld's financial security Keep track of payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc. Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balance Perform accurate and timely data entry within Jim2, Salesforce and/or other software programs as required Prepare analyses of accounts and produce monthly reports as required Check and verify invoices, enter invoices into system, and process payments Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable Create and submit invoices as required Create, maintain and update customer, supplier and vendor records Follow-up on past-due accounts and collections Copy, file, and retrieve materials as needed Support branches with all banking and accounts related tasks WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR The ideal candidate will have: Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role Demonstrated understanding of account and finance activities Accuracy and high attention to detail, with ability to recognise discrepancies in data or information records A proven ability to plan, finish and achieve high quality results within agreed timeframes Ability to exercise initiative and discretion to maintain a high level of confidentiality Demonstrated computer, typing and data entry skills across a range of programs High level written and verbal communication skills Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, other Norweld teams and vendor partners Ability to manage with a high volume of transactions and balance multiple tasks and interruptions Your dream role awaits!
