G&H Civil Contractors is a Gold Coast based Civil Engineering company. Operating since 2010, G&H specialises in Bulk Earthworks, Piling & Retention systems, and Demolition. Our team delivers projects to clients in the Commercial, Residential, and public sectors across QLD, NSW, and ACT.
Due to our continued growth and new projects, we are seeking an experienced Civil Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join the G&H Team on the Gold Coast.
As a Civil Estimator / Quantity Surveyor with G&H, you will be pivotal in the planning and execution of our projects. You will collaborate closely with the G&H leadership team and with external stakeholders from developers and Tier 1 & 2 Contractor client teams on multi-million-dollar tenders.
Your Responsibilities:Estimating: Perform quantity take-offs, cost analysis, value engineering, risk assessments, bid preparation, and documentation.Design Interpretation: Quantify infrastructure designs to produce BOQs.Tender Management: Utilize your experience to develop detailed tender programs, identify opportunities, and mitigate risks in tender documents.Cost Reviews: Lead cost reviews and planning sessions with senior management.Project Coordination: Efficiently coordinate assigned projects, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the estimated scope and level of detail aligned with the proposal.Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders, facilitating effective communication to assist project teams in establishing and monitoring project budgets.What you bring to the role:Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a relevant related field.
