About the Role:
Our client, a leading real estate investment company, is seeking a skilled Fund and Group Accountant to join their high-performing finance team. This role is essential to the company’s continued growth and will oversee fund accounting, group consolidations, and compliance to support financial performance across a diverse portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage Fund Accounting: Oversee financial management and reporting for various property and investment funds, including unit pricing, investor contributions, and performance metrics.
* Lead Group Consolidations: Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the group, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
* Ensure Compliance: Coordinate tax filings, audit processes, and statutory submissions to meet all Australian regulations.
* Drive Financial Process Improvements: Enhance internal controls and accounting systems, optimizing efficiency through technology.
* Collaborate with Stakeholders: Act as a primary contact for investors, auditors, and tax advisors, providing clear insights and reports.
About You:
* CA/CPA qualification with 5+ years of experience in fund accounting, group consolidations, or real estate investment.
* A strong understanding of Australian accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate governance.
* Excellent analytical skills to translate complex data into clear insights.
* Proven experience managing external audits, tax submissions, and regulatory filings.
* Experience with MRI would be a strong preference
