Our core values begin at the very top and span the broad reach of our global community.We offer dynamic careers for those individuals looking to be a part of something bigger and provide unequivocal opportunities for growth within the organization.PSA BDP serves over 5,000 customers, including some of the world's leading multinational companies within the chemical, consumer, fashion & retail, life sciences & healthcare, and electric vehicle & industrial verticals.ResponsibilitiesActively hunting new sales opportunities to achieve stipulated sales targets set by PSA BDP.Proactively generating leads through various channels such as cold calling, conferences, networking events, and referrals to expand the customer base.Knowledgeable in freight forwarding transportation, contract logistics, and multimodal solution selling.Work closely with cross-functional teams within PSA BDP.Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including shippers, manufacturers, and distributors.Understand customers' needs and develop customized solutions to meet their transportation and logistics requirements.Input and timely update sales activities utilizing the CRM system and build a healthy pipeline.Provide regular sales reports and updates to management.Drive and lead the RFQ process.Minimum Requirements:Tertiary qualifications with a minimum of 5 years’ sales/business development experience in Logistics/Freight-forwarding, with knowledge in Ocean Freight, Air Freight, Contract Logistics, and Value Add Solutions in Logistics Companies.Solid and demonstrated working knowledge of the Freight Forwarding and contract logistics industry.Effective verbal and written communication skills in English and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with clients, carriers, other forwarders, and vendors.Ability to research, identify, tackle, grow, and close business opportunities, ensuring the needed support from product and operations.Results-driven, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.Great negotiation, consultative, and relationship management skills.Ability to manage priorities, be organized, methodical, and deal well under pressure.Able to work autonomously with support from Sales Leaders.
